We had a super relaxed tour of Montmartre with Solène. She explained everything really well and we saw the most beautiful corners of Montmartre. Solène has such a great charisma that it was impossible not to listen to her!
We also thought it was great that everyone got a "headset" and you could always understand Solène even if you weren't close to the group!

It was simply fantastic! Solene is super friendly and accommodated all our requests. She was completely attuned to us and was able to show us Paris in a way that you don't get to see every day. Fancy a bit of history? No problem, just ask Solene. Or would you prefer art and culture? No problem, Solene is there! All in all, we were and are thrilled! We will definitely come back to Paris and hope that Solene will be there to help us again full of enthusiasm!!!

We did a total of 5 tours in 3 days with the guides from HelpTourists. We really enjoyed the tours through the different districts of Paris. With HelpTourists, we, as a group of four, booked an individual eight-hour city tour from the Marais district to the Seine, as well as a two-hour tour of the Louvre. This also included booking various entrance tickets.
They also sent us metro tickets in advance. This meant that when we arrived we could get straight from the train to the metro and reach our accommodation in good time.

Impressive eight-hour Paris city tour at the start of our stay.

With HelpTourists, we, as a group of four, went on an individual eight-hour city tour from the Marais district to the Seine.

We were thus briefed for exciting experiences for the rest of our vacation:

Our city guide impressed us with her extensive knowledge of the city and life in the city. She provided practical support in purchasing our Navigo Découverte passes and renting Velib bikes. Together with the city guide, we took breaks in an exciting restaurant and had a picnic. In the process, we were able to clarify our questions for the rest of our stay in Paris.

Overall, our city guide was very individual and personal, catering to us and our previously expressed wishes. We received selected restaurant and vacation recommendations.

Such attention is something very special for us! Thank you very much for that.

Exciting tour with expertise through the Louvre

The two-hour tour through the Louvre with HelpTourists was simply fantastic for our group of four people! Our guide led us through the museum with a common thread.

He explained the fascinating story behind the works of art to us.

From the first to the last second, he created a particularly positive tension.

Our attentive and friendly guide completely inspired us with his passion and expertise. We can highly recommend this tour!

Communication with Helptourist was a disaster. After ordering and waiting for three weeks, the 5-day tickets for the Paris metro never arrived. There was no response to emails at all. It was only when I contacted Paypal that I was told that they would try everything and initiate an investigation through the German postal service. To date, no tickets have arrived and no refund has been made. I cannot recommend this company.

I approached Helptourists with the request to organize a very individual day tour with me, away from the typical tourist tours. Solène more than succeeded in doing this. She had already accompanied my entire extended family on a day tour of Paris a few months earlier, during which we visited the most important highlights of the city. Now it was time for the "real" Paris, because I wanted to find out how people really live here. So Solène planned a tour of "her" Paris, the arrondissements, where she also likes to spend time privately. The tour took us through the lesser-known, not yet so polished northern Marais and from there through districts 10, 11, 19 and 20. The tour took us through winding alleys and hidden passages with trendy bars and restaurants, a bit along the Canal St. Martin with its beautifully autumn-colored trees, through the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise and up to the parks of Belleville (with a wonderful view of the city) and the fairytale-like Buttes-Chaumont. It felt like strolling through the city with a friend, chatting casually and simply enjoying the city. Of course, there was also a coffee break and a very good lunch. I can really only recommend a tour like this if you really want to get to know Paris.

Back from a wonderful short break in Paris, we would like to thank Denise and her team from Help Tourists for the many wonderful moments we were able to experience. From the initial contact, the personal study of the extremely informative homepage, to the organization of the necessary entrance tickets, to the wonderful tour with Maren through Montmartre, everything was right, everything went smoothly and perfectly.

While preparing for a city trip to Paris with a visit to the Louvre and other highlights such as Sacré-Coeur, we, two couples, came across the interesting offer from HelpTourists. The information on the website and the concept of organizing individual tours in German convinced us.
The inquiry, advice and bookings were handled very nicely and friendly by Solène. For the day of arrival, we received a good suggestion for a first walk from our hotel to interesting places in the surrounding area.
When we visited the Louvre, Solène was also our personal guide. A prominent place in front of the Louvre was agreed upon as the meeting point, the tickets were booked and brought to HelpTourists. During the short but unavoidable wait at the security check, we received initial information about the history of the museum and during the two-hour tour of the museum, we were made aware of many details and background information that we would probably have missed otherwise. Solène was very competent in her explanations and answered all of our questions and comments very well.
The following day we had booked an individual city tour in the Montmartre district, ending in Sacré-Coeur. The meeting point was again a distinctive place, where our guide Lara greeted us. During this walk through the district we also received very good information about the city's history, architecture, interesting places, but also about business life in Paris. A joint tour of Sacré-Coeur was very informative and at the end we received further tips for sightseeing in Paris on our own.

We all really liked the friendly, personal support from Solène and Lara. Both of them and certainly the other HelpTourists guides know their city well. The organization was perfect and we can recommend HelpTourists without reservation.

Another tip for using the metro in Paris. To buy tickets, there is the Navigo Easy system from the operating company Île-de-France Mobilités. This is a small card that can be easily topped up with tickets at sales points, vending machines, or with a mobile phone. This card can be purchased at a sales point on arrival, e.g. at Gare de l'Est. When we arrived, however, there was a huge rush and we had to wait a long time. It would certainly be a good service if HelpTourists could include the purchase and delivery of this card in their offer and also provide further information about the Île-de-France Mobilités ticket system on the website.

A highlight of our visit to Paris was certainly the Louvre tour. Our guide Solene took us to the Louvre as quickly as possible without having to wait in long lines and gave us a cross-section of the history of the Louvre and its most important works of art in very good German. Solene also told us lesser-known details about the works of art, so the tour was very entertaining. We were very happy with Solene and would recommend the tour at any time. We are happy to give her an Excellent with Plus!

We were in Paris as a family. We were looking for a Louvre tour in German that was both time-efficient and exciting for the kids.
We found what we were looking for online.
Everything went smoothly, we had a competent guide. We got inside the Louvre very quickly without having to queue and the great tour started. She integrated the kids perfectly so that everyone was happy. After the tour we were able to explore the Louvre on our own.

The family tour with Solene through the Louvre was an absolutely fantastic experience for all of us and enriched our visit to Paris! With her kind and friendly manner, Solene managed to get our children (7 and 9 years old) excited about the Louvre, which is something you have to be able to do as a museum guide! The tour is timed and content-wise tailored to the children's interests. None of their or our questions went unanswered. Solene speaks excellent German and we parents also learned a lot! We can unreservedly recommend the tour with her. The tour is absolutely worth the price, which made us hesitate at first. We would book her again and again!!!

Paris is always a great experience, but what we were able to experience with Soléne exceeded all expectations. Our individual city tour began with a walk that we would never have done alone. Then we walked through old streets and stood in the courtyard of a city palace that we would have definitely walked past. Plus the many stories about "normal" Parisian life. Simply great and we'd love to do it again!

We had a very nice city tour with Solene in Paris, which was particularly suitable for children (9 years old). We saw all the highlights we wanted to see and Solene knew how to keep the two children entertained (carousel rides, tasting macarons, etc.), so at the end of the tour both children and adults were extremely satisfied.

On the occasion of our big birthdays in 2014, my husband and I were in Paris. At the time, after doing some research on the Internet, I came across Denise.

After a brief contact via email, we decided to do a 4-hour tour with her. The meeting point was the small island in front of the Moulin Rouge. We explored Montmartre, visited Sacré-Cœur, the terrace of the Galeries Lafayette, which was still an insider tip at the time, and much more. The 4 hours flew by. Even then, Denise was able to show us secret, enchanted and beautiful places in Paris.

Even when negotiating with an artist on the artists' square (which unfortunately no longer exists as it did back then), we were able to buy a beautiful picture as a souvenir (at a better price than what the Americans paid before us). Even then, Denise was well known among artists.

It was clear to us that if we ever come to Paris again, it HAD to be a tour with Denise.

And this year the time had come. We booked a trip to Paris with our 14-year-old son quite spontaneously and at short notice during the autumn holidays. I didn't have to think about it for long and wrote to Denise. I was really very surprised at how big her team has become and I really congratulate her on having such a success with her idea of offering German-language tours in Paris.

She remembered us straight away and was happy to have contact. I received wonderful advice on what we should do with our son. I booked a 2-hour tour straight away, "The Secret Marais".

Our tour was then given by lovely Nadine. The tour was so personable, charming, interesting, informative and entertaining. It was in no way inferior to the tour almost 10 years ago. We were able to immerse ourselves in the "secret" world of Paris with Nadine for 2 hours.

Our son also really enjoyed it. Once again we were in the middle of Paris, in enchanted courtyards where there was absolute silence, it was hard to believe that we were in a metropolis at that moment. Lots of history, which was also conveyed in a very interesting way for our son.

I can really only recommend Denise and her team. She is the ORIGINAL that offers German-language tours in Paris.

Anytime again, I would give you a million stars and not just 5*****.

If you have any questions about Paris, no matter what, you have come to the right place. Every native Parisian knows the city better, I'm sure of that!

Keep up the good work, I'm sure we'll see each other again, Paris still has many great places that you can make your own..... We booked several tours in Paris. Everything went really well and the guides were very friendly and competent. We got to know Paris in a special way. We would love to do it again.

The tour of Montmartre with Maren was great! We had our 5-year-old son with us and weren't sure at first whether the tour would be too strenuous for him, but Maren adapted to our pace and was able to include him really well! Next time we're in Paris, we'll definitely book another tour of the Marais district!

A cool private tour, just for the 4 of us. We saw things we didn't know anything about and heard very interesting stories that aren't written anywhere. Of course we also saw famous sights (from the outside), but only what we wanted to see with the guide.
